Cool, but dry night in Metro Detroit, warm Wednesday
TONIGHT:
With noticeably drier and cooler air, skies will be mostly clear. Temperatures will cool to the mid 40s to 50 degrees. Lows will be in the mid 40s in Ann Arbor, Brighton, Lapeer, Sandusky, and Port Huron. Lows will fall to the upper 40s in Monroe, Livonia, Dearborn, Troy, and Warren. Detroit will be at about 50 degrees. Winds will be out of the west-northwest at 5 to 10 mph.
TOMORROW (WEDNESDAY):
The weather will be mostly dry, mostly sunny and warm in Southeast Michigan on Wednesday. A couple of early morning sprinkles are possible north over the Thumb, but the dry air will keep odds low. Expect partly cloudy skies in the morning and mostly sunny skies in the afternoon. Highs will be in the upper 70s. Southwesterly winds will be 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph.
TOMORROW NIGHT:
It will become partly cloudy with lows in the upper 40s to lower 50s.
Plan for the return of showers on Friday and a slight chance of an isolated shower on Saturday, but rain should not be an issue for Cinco de Mayo celebrations or other outdoor festivities. Highs will be in the lower 70s to near 80 degrees for the rest of the week. Another chance of rain looks to come on Tuesday.
