Soggy Start to Friday with a Wonderful, Warm Weekend Ahead
Grab an umbrella this morning. Scattered to numerous showers have overspread Southeast Michigan this morning and look to move out (eastward) by the late morning hours.
SUNRISE: 6:10 AM
Mostly to partly cloudy today with a chance for showers and thunderstorm to redevelop this afternoon and evening. Any storm development will be isolated with localized wind gusts around 45-50 mph possible. Otherwise, most of us should dry out and stay mainly dry through the weekend.
SUNSET: 8:50 PM
Very warm this weekend through early next week. Temperatures this weekend will top out on either side of 80 and we will have highs in the 80s to start the next work week. We will get more sunshine on Sunday compared to Saturday. We then have increased chances for thunderstorms Tuesday into Wednesday next week.
